Whale-like-fish was appointed by Loch Ness by Jacobite in early 2022 to help increase awareness of its visitor attractions locally, reflecting a focus on the local market following the Covid pandemic.
Loch Ness by Jacobite offers fantastic cruises and tours of the Loch, while An Talla provides a restaurant and retail offering at Dochgarroch Lock. Most recently, the company has also added a selection of holiday cottages – the Loch Ness Cottage Collection – to its portfolio.
Since working with Loch Ness by Jacobite, we have help spread word of events and milestones for the company, assisted with award entries, created editorial and advertorial features, and provided comment on issues impacting the tourism and hospitality industries.

- Celebrity guests include Karen Gillan; the cast of A League of Their Own with Loch Ness by Jacobite’s sister company, Beastie Boats; the cast of Celebrity 5 Go Motorhoming; and Alexandra Burke and the cast of Sister Act
- The return of the famous Loch Ness Booze Cruise to celebrate The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee
- Two events held with Invernessian MasterChef finalist Sarah Rankin at An Talla
- Promoting Christmas events at An Talla via local media and influencers, including organising influencer trips
- Marking Living Wage Week with details of how Loch Ness by Jacobite supports its employees
- Providing comment to media on employment outlook for the tourism and hospitality industries and other issues and opportunities for the industry, as well as quirky features such as ‘Why I love Loch Ness’ for Lonely Planet or the lure of Nessie for National Geographic
- Drafting successful award entries on behalf of the team
